The "surprise, it's a cover song" that got me was TMBG's hit, "Istanbul." I thought for a long time it was one of their own but it turns out to be a Four Lads song from the 50's.
One of my friends at the Pike Place Market is the son of one of the Four Lads and he set me straight on this.
